Jawahar Navoday The admit card of SELECTION TEST FOR ADMISSION IN CLASS IX 2021 is now available

It is to inform that the Lateral Entry Test for admission of students to Class IX in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas will be held on 24 February 2021

The admit card of SELECTION TEST FOR ADMISSION IN CLASS IX 2021 is now available for download.

Candidates have to use their Registration Number and password for JNVST 2021 Admit Card Download.

The admit card is computer generated and does not require any signature

Instructions for the Candidate

1.No candidate will be allowed to the test without the admit card under any circumstances.

2.Check the particulars in the Admit Card carefully. Error, if any, must be immediately reported to the Principal of JNV concerned by email to drbks96@gmail.com.

3.Once inside the Examination Centre premises, all candidates will be under surveillance. Hence candidates are advised not to indulge into any unlawful activity

which will be monitored & will invite disqualification and legal action.

4.No electronic devices/gadgets except ordinary wrist watch are allowed in the examination hall.

5.Do not carry any article, except Admit Card and Black /Blue Ball Pen in the examination hall.

6.Candidate is required to report to the examination center latest by 9:30 am.

7.Candidate will Not be permitted to appear for the test if reports after 10:00 am. Total duration of the examination is 2 hours and 30 minutes . (10:00 am to

12:30 pm). However, in respect of candidates with special needs (Divyang), additional time of 30 minutes will be provided.

8.Before answering, the candidate has to ensure that question booklet contains 100 questions serially numbered from1 to 100. In case of discrepancy, the

candidate should immediately report the matter to the invigilator for replacement of the question paper.

9.Use Blue/Black Ball point Pen only to write on OMR sheet. Use of Pencil is Strictly Prohibited.

10.Each question is followed by four alternative answers, marked A, B, C & D. Candidate is required to select the one, that answers the question correctly and darken that circle on OMR sheet.

11.Answers are to be marked in the OMR sheet which will be provided along with question paper. Marking of answers on the question paper is NOT allowed.

12.Candidate must fill Roll Number on OMR sheet as well as on question paper.

13.No change in the answer once marked is allowed. Overwriting, cutting and erasing on the OMR sheet is NOT allowed.

14.Use of White/correction fluid/eraser on OMR sheet is not allowed.

15.Do NOT make any stray mark on the OMR sheet.

16.Candidate shall not leave the hall before 12.30 Pm and without handing over answer sheet to the invigilator.

17.Any candidate found either giving or receiving assistance or using unfair means during the exam will be disqualified. Any attempt for impersonation will also disqualify the candidature.

18.The candidate is provisionally allowed to appear for the test subject to the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria at the time of admission to class IX in JNVs after selection.

19.Selection of candidate for admission in JNV concerned is as per prescribed NVS criteria.

Special Instructions for Candidates

 The Candidates -

>>May carry hand sanitizer (50ml) in transparent bottle.

>>Will cover their nose and mouth with mask always in the centre.

>>Will follow social distancing norms strictly.

>>Will not exchange or loan articles ( stationary items like pen, pencil, ruler, eraser etc.) inside examination room.

>>May carry their own drinking water bottle.

>>Should try to avoid contact with unknown persons.

>>Will throw used tissue/face mask, if any, into closed bins immediately after use.

>>Will maintain good hygiene in toilets during and after use.

>> Should not touch eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands.

>>Will not shake hands or hug at any cost while greeting.

>> Will not spit in public places.

>> Should be confident that they are not infected or having any symptoms of COVID-19.

>>Will seek advice on COVID-19 from their parents before leaving for examination centre.

>>Will sanitize hands with Sanitizer before entering the centre. Hand sanitizer will be available at various locations in the centre.

>>Should reach centre as per the Reporting/Entry time mentioned in the Admit Card to avoid any crowding at the centre at the time of entry to maintain social

distancing.

 Special Instructions for Parents/Guardians

 The Parents -

>>Should be confident that their ward is not infected or having symptoms of COVID-19. In case their ward is not feeling well, parents should consult the

doctor and act as per advice.

>>Should ensure that their ward reaches the centre at the reporting time mentioned in the Admit Card only to avoid crowding at the centre.

>>Are requested to strictly follow the below mentioned guidelines and ensure that their ward also follow the same:

i)Wear Mask.

ii) Sanitize her/his hands.

iii) Maintain social distancing while dropping and picking up their wards at the centre.

>> For any assistance/clarification, Principal of JNV may be contacted.

JNVST 6th Class Admit Card 2020:

 Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) has scheduled the 6th Class admission Entrance test on 11th January, 2019. Applicants who have applied for class 6th admission in Navodaya schools must be getting ready to attend the entrance test as per the scheduled dates. Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti Hyderabad Region invites applications from the eligible candidates for admission to Class VI of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas of the District, against the vacant seats, which are likely to be available during the academic year 2019


Candidates, aspiring to get admission into class VI at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs), they will have to appear for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test. I would like to intimate all JNVST 2019 aspirants that they may obtain the application form from 25th September 2017 onward

About of NVS
In accordance with the National Policy of Education 1986, Govt. of India started Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs). Presently the JNVs are spread in 28 States and 07 Union



Territories.
These are co-educational residential schools fully financed and administered by Govt. of India through an autonomous organization, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti. Admissions in JNVs are made through the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) at Class VI.


State-wise Distribution of JNV
At present, there are 660 Vidyalayas are sanctioned in 28 States and 07 Union Territories. Out of which 626 are functioning. The State-wise distribution of JNVs sanctioned is as under:
Andhra Pradesh 13+02; Himachal Pradesh 12; Punjab 22+01; Assam 27+01; Jammu & Kashmir 22+01; Pudducherry 04; Arunachal Pradesh 18; Jharkhand 24+02; Rajasthan 33+02; Andaman & Nicobar Islands 03; Karnataka 30+01; Sikkim 04; Bihar 38+01; Kerala 14; Tripura 08; Chandigarh 01; Lakshadweep 01; Telangana 09; Chattisgarh 27+01; Madhya Pradesh 51+02; Uttar Pradesh 75+01; Delhi 09 Maharashtra 33+01 Uttarakhand 13; Daman & Diu 02 Manipur 09+02 West Bengal 19+01; Dadra & Nagar Haveli 01 Meghalaya 11+01; Goa 02; Mizoram 08; Gujarat 33+01; Nagaland 11 and; Haryana 21 Orissa 30+01
Total - 638 + 22 = 660


Eligibility
a) Only the candidates from the district concerned where the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya has been opened are eligible to apply for admission. However, the district where JNV is opened and is bifurcated at a later date, the old boundaries of the district are considered for the purpose of eligibility for admission into JNVST, in case a new Vidyalaya has not started in newly bifurcated district as yet
b) A candidate seeking admission must not have been born before 01st May 2005 and after 30th April 2009; this will apply to candidates of all categories, including those who belong to the SC/ST; in case of doubt of overage candidate seeking admission, they may be referred to the Medical Board for confirmation of the age. The decision of the Medical Board will be final
c) A candidate appearing for the selection test must be studying in Class-V for the whole of the academic session 2017-18 in a Govt. /Government aided or other recognized schools or ‘B’ certificate competency course of National Institute of Open Schooling in the same district where he/she is seeking admission
Schools where students have obtained ‘B’ certificate under National Institute of Open Schooling should have accreditation of NIOS. A candidate must successfully complete Class-V in the session 2017-18. Actual admission in Class-VI for the session 2018-19 will be subject to this condition
d) A Candidate claiming admission under rural quota must have studied and passed classes III, IV and V from a Govt. /Govt. aided/recognized school spending one full academic session each year in a school located in rural area
e) Candidates who will be passing ‘B’ certificate competency course of National Institute of Open Schooling on or before 30th September 2017 are also eligible to write admission test provided they are in the prescribed age group
f) A Candidate who has not been promoted and admitted to Class-V before 15th September 2017 is not eligible to apply
